Suitable for steam and other compressible fluid applications. the Consolidated Type 1541 and 1543 safety valves are ASME Section I and VIII approved. They are most commonly used in pharmaceutical, dying and process plants.
Two-adjusting-ring design of the Consolidated Type 1541 and 1543 safety valves allows for sharp opening action and full lift at three percent overpressure. The self-aligning spring washers help increase repeatability and the valve's life span.
The Consolidated Type 1541 and 1543 safety valves are configured for steam and other compressible fluids. Compression media is limited to non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive service. They are most commonly used in pharmaceutical and process plants.
