Since 1977, Contro Valve Equipment Inc. has been eastern Canada’s leading provider of valves and instrumentation solutions to industrial, commercial and institutional customers. Industries served include power generation, pulp and paper, water treatment, chemicals, refining, pipelines, electricity distribution and many more.
With a network of over 130 employees established in ten sales offices and five service locations across Canada, Contro Valve has the necessary facilities and competence to meet the requirements of its demanding and diverse customer base.
Contro Valve Inc. has evolved over the past forty years from being solely a sales representative to being a full service valve assembly, instrumentation and repair company. It has also established itself as a system integrator for analytical solutions over a wide range of industrial applications. With valves as its base, the company now represents over 20 manufactures of process control equipment for such applications as fixed gas detections, process gas analysis, level detection, flow and pressure measurement and data recording.
Contro Valve strives not only to meet the stringent quality, facility, inventory and personnel standards required by its suppliers and customers, but to exceed them. Contro Valve is certified ISO 9001-2008 and will soon migrate to the new 2015 standard. All of Contro Valve’s technical personnel are required to successfully complete extensive and specialize training on a continual basis at its supplier’s facilities, the result of which provides customers with an unsurpassed level of service.
Contro Valve is proud to be a factory authorized assembly and repair center for BHGE/Consolidated (Green Tag Center) as well as a factory authorized GE/Masoneilan (MARC) assembly & repair center. Our Green Tag Centers are fully certified by the ASME under code section I & VIII for the assembly of new pressure relief valves, and by the National Board (NBBI) for repairs under the ‘VR’ program. In-line (Cost effective) Electronic Valve Testing using BHGE’s EVT and field service are available to serve customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
